UPDATE 8/20/23 Hi! My name is Victor, & I'm a very sweet 8-10 year old male tricolor beagle. Don't let my age fool you! I'm really energetic & I like to go on long walks. I can really move! I have a wonderful beagle bay when I get on the scent! I really like affection & to be petted! I've lived outside all my life with other dogs. I had a pretty rough time of it - I wasn't always fed enough. But I was taken in a few months ago by another rescue, & I'm a good healthy weight now. They gave to Nittany Beagle Rescue because they had trouble placing me. Can you imagine! I'm such an adorable, sweet guy! I love other dogs! I've been in a foster home for a little bit, & I need work on housetraining & house manners. I'm making great progress! I'm ok in a crate for a few hours, but not more than that. I will dash out the door, & so you will need to make sure I'm safe before opening it. I'm already neutered & up-to-date on vaccines. I need a home where I am walked on leash all the time, or has a fenced yard that is extremely secure. Nittany Beagle Rescue had thought Victor climbed a 5' chain link fence. But now we don't think so. Instead, we think he squeezed through a very small space, like a cat! Victor has no road sense & will run into traffic! So he needs a home who can love him & keep him safe! Victor has kennel cough right now, but he should be over that by 8/28. He needs a dental, but Nittany Beagle Rescue will pay for that. He weighs about 33 lbs or so.
