Meet Victor
Victor is a lovable Lab mix, approx. 2 years old. He is energetic and enthusiastic about life! He loves to play with toys and spend time outdoors. He’s the kind of guy who will need a fenced yard so he can stretch his long legs and get lots of exercise.
He enjoys playing with his foster dog siblings and would do well with a slightly older dog who doesn’t mind that Victor is still learning his “dog manners”.
Victor would benefit from training and does well with consistent routines and good follow-through from his humans. He would do best in a home with older children as he can forget his manners when he’s really happy to see his people! Also, a cat-free home would be preferable. He’s not at all aggressive with cats but he gets overly excited when he sees them.
Victor is smart, agile and athletic and would probably do well in dog agility training or some other kind of outdoor activity. He has a happy-go-lucky attitude and thinks people are just great. He’s an awesome snuggler and will try to squeeze his 56lbs into your lap just to show you how much he loves you!
Adopters must live within a 100-mile radius of Joliet, IL to be considered. The adoption fee is $425. This covers all shots, spay/neutering and microchip.
To be considered for this dog. Please fill out an application here: https://www.pawsup4rescue.org/dog-cat-applicaiton
Our adoption process typically takes from one to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require that the dogs be present at the meeting to make sure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalizing the adoption.
If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for up to 1 year and we will gladly consider your family for another dog.
