Meet Venetian: Venetian is a 1 year old (as of May 2023) lab/terrier mix that weighs about 35 pounds. Venetian was found in Byhalia, MS. A business owner had many dogs outside on his property to protect his trucks, but unfortunately they were not fixed and he ended up with many unwanted puppies. The parents of the pups are to be fixed while we try to find these little ones good homes. When we first got the pups, they were unsocialized. Venetian's socialization is pretty close to complete. She used to duck her head and pull away when you reached out to pet her. Recently, she's decided she likes it and will nudge up against you to initiate more. To see her now, you wouldn't suspect she'd come from the environment where she spent the first 4 months of her life. Venetian would love a home to feel safe and warm in and continue to get the love from a family that she now realizes is great! Venetian will need a home with a fenced in yard. Venetian is house trained using a doggie door to go outside and is fairly good on a leash. Venetian is up to date on her shots and is spayed.
