Help us get Velma adopted!
Look at her sweet face. She is a timid girl who wasn't socialized as a puppy. Because of this, she is a bit fearful of strangers. Don't let that stop you from adopting her. Velma loves to play fetch. She loved playing with her littermates. They have all been adopted and now it is her turn.
Velma has done really well at training and just needs a chance to flourish. Will you be that person/family?
Velma is two years old and  housetrained.
Dachshunds and Friends Rescue saved Velma and her littermates as puppies from the streets of Mexico. They have all found forever homes and are thriving.
It is really tough for DARF who primarily rescues small dogs to find fosters and adopters for bigger dogs. So we really need someone to give Velma the love and attention she deserves. ??
