Meet Velma

Velma is a classic, sweet Shepherd. Velma does not react to other dogs at all. She is super treat motivated. Very nice dog but a little bossy so needs a more submissive dog to share a home with. She would also love to get all the attention as the only dog in the home as well! Her foster mom works at home, and other than a couple times, has had no issues with her barking, despite the fact that one of the ways she seems to express her frustration when she wants food or outside time is to bark and groan at her mom. She has a very strong prey drive. When she is outside she spends a lot of time scanning for squirrels and searching around the perimeter of the shed. She has a headstrong girl and can be a bit stubborn but she is so sweet and loves being pet and getting belly rubs. She is working on some basic things, like sitting and laying and not putting her paws on the counter. Velma is a very typical, beautiful GSD.
