Velma Labrador Retriever Mix New York, NY

Velma is a 3 month old Lab Mix who is truly amazing! She is a fast learner, and very eager to learn. She is excited and curious and fascinated. She is great with kids. She is also a polite play companion, and play bows to the dogs in my hallway.

Velma is crate-trained, and loves her crate. When I picked her up at transport, she did a pee outside. She has finally figured out how to play with her toys, and loves her stuffed animals. After a day of play, all she wants to do is curl up and sleep on my couch with her chew toy. She will be perfect and happy with a family in the city, or with a family or couple at a house with a back yard. Her adoption fee is $500. She is being fostered in Manhattan

All of our dogs come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where dogs can be seen during the week.
