Nice to meet you, my name is Vela. First off, I’d like to tell you that I’m a little bit shy when I first meet a stranger…but give me a few minutes and a stranger you’ll be no more. You won’t find a sweeter bundle of love no matter what constellation you search! It’s hard to believe that a beautiful young thang like me would have low self-esteem, but it’s true. I do love the company of other dogs, and I am not ashamed to admit that I was scared of the cats here! I will adore the attention of respectful and gentle children 7+ as long as they know how to give me space to feel comfortable when needed. My crate training is coming along nicely, and I am eager to learn all the other things you want to teach me. I just need to find a loving home with patient people who will have the time and compassion to help me come out of my shell. Don’t worry, you don’t have to travel to outer space…just head on down to Family Dogs!
