Meet Veill! This handsome boy’s a Retriever mix that’s 2 years old and weighs about 45 pounds. We rescued him from the Aeriwon shelter in Korea and now he’s made it to NYC! Veill’s still getting used to this new chapter in his life, but he’s making progress each day! Once he gets to know you, he’s such a sweet, gentle, curious, and kind pup. He’s been doing great with his potty training and crate training so far. He’s a big fan of bully sticks so keep that in mind! Veill will do best with a patient adopter that can help him build more confidence outdoors and around strangers. Think you could be the right one for him? Apply to adopt!

Meet our adoptable pups! In compliance with NYC Phase 4 re-opening (www1.nyc.gov/), we will have an in-person meet and greet and Livestream event on Saturday, April 10th @ Mika Café in Bushwick (25 Thames St, Brooklyn). The event will be held at the outdoor event space from 11:30 am – 3 pm. This will be an opportunity where you can meet the dogs in person from a safe social distance.

This is not an adoption event; potential adopters will be able to watch the Livestream, learn about each dog's personality, and then meet/greet and observe the dogs from a safe social distance behind their playpens. Your brief questions will be answered, and if you are interested in adopting, an adoption application can be filled out online before or after this event. Our adoption radius is now within 30 miles of the following locations: NYC, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Western & Eastern CT. You must be able to pick up the dog at our office in Astoria, Queens (no exceptions). You must wear a mask and practice safe social distancing when traveling and picking up the dog.
