Meet Varity (Avail February 27)

Wow! This girl is absolutely gorgeous! Meet Varity! ?

"Varity is a very happy girl. From the day we first picked her up she has been the sweetest girl. Even when she was pregnant she was always wiggling around her body with excitement when you had food or were coming to pet her. Varity befriends everyone she meets and has an amazing temperament. She is laid back in the house but has spurts of excitement where she dances around you. Outside, she loves running around and exploring, but is so thankful when you let her back in the house. She has done an amazing job raising her puppies, and is truly a great dog!"

Varity is a 15-month-old female Great Pyrenees. She came into rescue with her sister Temperance(who has been adopted) when their owner could no longer keep them. Little did we know, that this beautiful girl was pregnant and close to giving birth. So, a little over a week later she had her puppies! Now that they are about to all head off to their furever families, this girl is ready to start the search for her furever family!

Varity is a very sweet girl and does good when meeting new people. She can be a little reserved in new environments but warms up fast. She has not been to any public outings so we are unsure how she would do in public settings. Varity has not shown to be a big chewer in her foster home. Varity has not shown to be a big barker inside but can be a big barker if she is left out for longer periods of time. Varity has not shown to have any issues with resource guarding.

Varity has a laid back temperament with spurts of playfulness. She is pretty calm in the house. The only time she gets pretty excited is when you have treats or are giving her lovings. She loves exploring outside so would probably love going on walks/hikes. Varity has not shown any interest in playing fetch. She has not shown any interest in toys, but that may change as she settles into her home. Varity does ride well in the car and is okay on a leash. Given her personality, we think Varity would do okay in an apartment setting if someone was home most of the day.

Wanting to welcome Varity home? Here are some additional things to note ?

-Varity does great with the other dogs. She is a friendly and happy girl.

-Varity is being fostered with cats and does good.

-Varity has not been around any kids so we are unsure how she would do.

-Varity has not shown to have any food aggression, however, she doesn't have any boundaries at dinner time and will stick her head in other dogs' bowls if not supervised.

-Varity is potty trained.

-Varity's foster does not kennel so she has no experience being kenneled. She has free roam of the house when her fosters leave or at night and does well.

Varity has the personality that makes you fall in love. She is such a happy and loving girl. She would fit into pretty much any home environment. She will make an amazing addition to any family! You can apply to adopt her at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app

Her adoption fee is $225. That includes DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordatella shots. He will be micro-chipped, heart-worm tested, have a fecal done, be de-wormed, be spayed/neutered, and will be current on heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.
