Varena is a 3.5 year old Lab mix who is very sweet, but she is shy. Varena needs time and patience to warm up to new people. She came to us and was very skinny, so we took some time to warm her up and get some meat on her bones! Varena is a good dog who just needs to learn to trust people again. She will need some reassurance from her new family, but we know that she has the ability to be an amazing dog!

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
