Howdy doody! My name is Vanilla, and I am a pretty Terrier mix who has been dreaming of a forever family for a LONG time. This is San Antonio, Texas, and it’s slow as molasses here for dog adoptions, given that so many dogs are dumped and living on the streets, just like I was.

I am now 6 years old, weigh 49 lbs, and I am a lovely lady with a youthful spirit. I am great with people and other dogs, happy and friendly with a medium energy level and a sweet personality. I love the outdoors and rolling around in the grass, but mostly I love being loved by people. Being scratched and petted are the bomb, and I’m not even slobbery! I rarely bark, I potty outdoors, I’m good in a crate, and I’m well-behaved. I LOVE LOVE LOVE going for walks and being invited to go along for a ride in the car. I’m just a happy girl with a positive disposition, always ready to get out and run, and I love new adventures. Now I just need someone to love me and let me be part of the family!
