Meet VanGogh Artist
Meet sweet little VanGogh! He is a two month old labrador/german shepherd mix. VanGogh is the prettiest chocolate mix and has the best expressive eyebrows. He is very much a lover boy. He craves private attention and just wants to be your constant snuggle bug. He is also super smart and has already learned how to scream very loudly to go potty outside haha! He is a very considerate little guy and eats only out of his food bowl. If you are looking for a new partner in crime VanGogh is the perfect artist for you!
VanGogh is currently fostered in a home with his siblings, the resident adult dogs, and kids! He is learning good doggy behaviors from his older foster siblings who have showed him how to potty outside and that dog beds are great for napping on. VanGogh does great with everyone he meets! He is such a smart boy and would make an amazing forever companion.
As he gets older, we anticipate he will be an active dog and will likely require physical and mental exercise daily. He will be the perfect dog to take on long walks around the neighborhood!

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives!
