Meet Valtryek! He is a male German Shepherd mix born approximately May 24, 2015 who came to us from the local animal shelter where a good Samaritan had brought him in after finding him in a highway underpass badly injured and covered in ticks. He had his injured leg amputated and now he is a happy and healthy tri-pod pup who gets along great with other dogs. He's very timid and cautious of new people at first, but once he realizes you are one of the good guys, he relaxes and enjoys walking and playing. Valtryek is ready to find the amazing life he deserves. Could it be with you or someone you know?

Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise.

Please note that adopters are not chosen on a first come, first served basis, but full consideration is given to the best fit for the dog AND the adopter.
