Meet Valentino
Update from foster mom:
Handsome Val is really looking forward to his forever home.
Val's perfect fit would be a home with parents who can allow him time to bond, but still enforce boundaries and structure that he thrives on. He has been doing very well with my 3 Bostons in his foster home and does like to play. Kids and cats are not a good fit for him. He is fostering in NW Houston.
He is a fantastic boy. House and crate trained, loves walks and car rides. Very food motivated too
Our fantastic trainer has offered a session to whomever adopts Val so everyone can be on the same page with his needs.

Valentino is our handsome brindle boy. He is estimated to be 3-4 years old, and about 22-25 lbs. On 4/4/23 Valentino underwent TPLO surgery (tibial-plateau-leveling osteotomy) for a hind leg. He has recovered well from that in his foster home. Now it is time to find this boy his forever home! Val has been with our dog trainer, and she has been working with him and his resource guarding tendencies. His best home will be one without another dog, he needs to create a bond with his new owner and not feel the need to compete. He will do great with gentle daily walks to help with stimulation, and structure. Unfortunately, we do not recommend a home with children or cats. A nice quieter environment would be best, someone who works from home or is retired. He truly enjoys relaxing and sunbathing in a yard. This boy really needs an understanding home that is willing to provide the structure he needs and follow the recommendations of our trainer. Our trainer will provide a training session with the new adopter.
Not only is he handsome and sweet, but this boy is also crate trained, potty trained and playful.
Valentino has been neutered and is being treated for heartworms. He is being fostered in North Houston area.
