Valentino Boston Terrier Van Vleck, TX

Valentino is our handsome brindle boy. He is estimated to be 3-4 years old, and about 25 lbs. On 4/4/23 Valentino underwent TPLO surgery (tibial-plateau-leveling osteotomy) for a hind leg. He has recovered well from that in his foster home. Now it is time to find this boy his forever home!

Update from foster mom: Handsome Val is ready to be adopted and hoping to be licking holiday cookie crumbs off the floor of his forever home. This cutie is a butterball of energy. Val's perfect fit would be a home with humans that are patient and will allow him time to bond. Val needs his parents to be experienced dog owners that enforce rules and boundaries while being consistent with positive behavior modification (He is very food motivated). He needs a supportive environment for him to thrive in and continue to build confidence. While older kids are a good fit for him, cats are not a good fit. He would love to be in a home with other dogs that have the same passion for playing together. Val is a social butterfly at doggie day camp where he has not sniffed a doggie butt he hasnt loved, making lots of new paw friends. Val is fostering in NW Houston. He is a fantastic, sweet boy and quite the talker! He is house and crate trained. He loves belly rubs, sunbathing, walks, car rides, and relaxing with his humans. Our fantastic trainer has offered a session to whomever adopts Val so everyone can be on the same page with his needs. Val has been with our dog trainer, and she has been working with him and his resource guarding tendencies.
