Wiley Staffordshire Bull Terrier & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Framingham, MA

Hi there! My name is Wiley. (Well, actually, everyone usually calls me ‘Aw, you’re such a cutie pie!’ but that’s a bit of a mouthful, I think.) As a young and trendy 2 year old, I enjoy the important things in life: good walkies, good chewies, and good curled-up-on-the-couch selfies. In fact, a good snuggle is probably my favorite thing - and I may weigh 50 pounds, but I can certainly squeeze onto a lap like any dog half my size.


I’m a very handsome brown-black brindle color, with “eyes so chocolatey, it’s a wonder we don’t have to rush you to the vet” - or so I’m told anyways. I’m also told that I’m a pitbull mix (probably with some Lab, according to my foster parents) and that I’m “neutered”, whatever that means. It’s probably just another word for “good boy”, since everyone keeps telling me that.


I really like playing with other dogs and even those smaller humans, but cats and small animals not so much - although the squirrels in the backyard do make for a pretty fun chase. But at the end of the day, I like to wedge myself in between some people and pretend I’m a blanket. And I’m not at all opposed to getting some ear or tummy scratchies while I'm at it.


I know all the basic tricks - sit, give paw, and stay - and I even know how to do my business outside unlike those gross humans. But sometimes I’m a little too curious and could use some work on my “manners” (which is another word for “treats”, I think). But then again, I am still a pup after all. Otherwise, I’m a very good boy who could use a family to share some laughs with.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
