Uijeong Jindo Mix Long Island City, NY

Meet Uijeong! She’s a female Jindo mix that’s 4 years old and weighs about 28 pounds. We rescued her from the Aerinwon shelter and now she’s in NYC for adoption! Uijeong’s best described as outgoing, sweet, affectionate, curious, and gentle. This girl LOVES getting pets (head and belly are her sweet spots) and will gently paw at you to ask for more pets if you stop too soon. She enjoys following her foster around in the apartment and even tries napping next to her foster. Uijeong’s starting to learn how to play with a ball and she sometimes carries around her stuffed toys in her mouth. She’s also getting along great with strangers and being well-mannered around other dogs! Ready for Uijeong? Apply to adopt!

Meet our adoptable pups! Come to our in-person & Livestream event on Saturday, May 8th @ Mika Café in Bushwick (25 Thames St, Brooklyn). This event will be held at the outdoor event space from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm. This will be an opportunity where you can meet the dogs for adoption in person and learn more about them.

Please note: This is not an adoption event; potential adopters will be meet the pups in person, learn about each dogs personality, and then meet/greet and observe the dogs from a safe social distance from outside of their playpens. We will answer your questions at our questions booth, and if you are interested in adopting, fill out an adoption application before or after the event!

REQUIRED
In compliance with NYC Covid-19 Phase 4 re-opening (www1.nyc.gov/), please show proof of Covid Vax or Negative Covid test within the last 3 days. It is required to meet the dogs upon entry. Our staff and volunteers will also meet the requirements. Masks and social distancing rules will apply.

Our adoption radius is now within 30 miles of the following locations: NYC, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Western & Eastern CT. You must be able to pick up the dog at our office in Astoria, Queens (no exceptions). You must wear a mask and practice safe social distancing when traveling and picking up the dog.
