Meet Tyson
Please meet Tyson! He is a Boxer-mix who is around 1½ years old. He’s neutered, current on his vaccines, house and crate trained, and is being fostered in Kenmore, WA.
Tyson – The Goofball with a Backpack, isn’t just a dog…he’s a whole vibe. This handsome guy is equal parts muscle, mischief, and heart, and he’s looking for someone who can match his energy. No small children though for Tyson, as he doesn’t realize his size and could easily knock them over. You see, even though he’s over a year old, he’s basically a 4- to 6-month-old puppy in a big body, smart, and pushy, who needs an experienced owner.
Walks? He’s a fan! Actually…he’s more of a “let’s GO!” kind of guy. His foster family is working on slowing down the pace (pulling is still his favorite party trick), but with a little consistency, he’s starting to figure it out. Here’s his favorite thing ever: his backpack! Yep, Tyson loves having a “job”. Load it up with a few pounds, and he struts around like the mayor of the neighborhood. Honestly, we think he’d carry your groceries if you asked nicely.
Playdates are Tyson’s jam too. He and his foster sister have been playing daily, lots of gentle chewing and silly corn-cobbing — but fair warning, Tyson doesn’t always know when the party’s over, so he needs a human referee (or a confident dog buddy) to remind him to take a break and chill out. Tyson loves to dissect stuffies, chew antlers, and will play all day long with a dog who can match his energy. Tyson has not been tested with any cats, but he does like to chase other critters, so he’d prefer a forever home with no feline family members.
Tyson’s perfect match? Someone who loves an active lifestyle, believes in clear boundaries, and appreciates a dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He would love a large yard to run, run, and run some more in! Give him structure, a little patience, and a lot of love, and this boy will be your ride-or-die.
