Meet Tyler--Adopted

Tyler has found his forever home with Christine and Ryann S. of West Boylston.

Adoption Coordinator: LK

Tyler is being returned to us because he has separation anxiety. What would be helpful is if there were other dogs or another dog in the household for company. Tyler was an emotional support dog to a military vet who entered a nursing home leaving Tyler without a home. He is a spry 10 year old, 50 pound mixed breed dog. Tyler is a very affectionate, loving dog who bonds easily to people and is a low maintenance boy. Tyler is wonderful with children and adores all the attention he can get from them. He is house trained, no need to crate him. He is happy lying on the couch. Tyler would be great for someone who may be housebound and has a fenced in yard. He walks nicely on leash until he sees another dog whereby he becomes anxious and will lunge and bark at them. He is getting better with that but his new owner should continue working with him redirecting his attention away from the other dog if he is leash walked. Tyler is going to make a wonderful companion for someone who is looking for that special dog. His adoption fee is $300.

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up. If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit by clicking on our rescue's name in this posting (Forever Home Rescue New England--in purple) which will bring you to a new page with the deposit link at the bottom. STOP! If you have not been notified of your approval status do not make a deposit.
