Meet Twyla
Meet Twyla! Since coming to rescue Twyla has lost weight and gotten into good shape. She has more energy. Here is her new profile!
Twyla is a female Siberian Husky, around 5 yrs old, 50 lbs. and medium energy. What is Twyla’s favorite thing? Hanging out with her people. Twyla came into rescue low energy and overweight. Since she has lost weight she has become more active and loves to go for walks.

Twyla ‘s foster mom: Twyla is generally quiet dog but may bark when excited. She loves a calm household and calm big dogs. We think she would love a home with no dogs where she is queen. She has changed a great deal since she first came into rescue and is now more active. She still would rather be with the family than hang out in the yard!
ABOUT TWYLA:
· She is crate trained
· She is housetrained, she will let you know when she needs outside (she has a routine)
· She does best with bigger, calm male dogs (she currently hangs out with big dogs)
· She loves people and would love to be an only dog
· She walks well on leash, but pulls with new people
· She is slow to settle in and can take a couple weeks to learn new routines.
TWYLA’S PERFECT HOME. We think Twyla will thrive in a home that is calm and has people looking for a companion. She will need a secure yard as we think she has high prey drive. She is quiet on car rides preferring the back seat. She likes her daily walks. She is a dog that would love a quiet mellow household. When Twyla first came to us she jumped up on people. She no longer does this but we don't think she would be a good match with children. She prefers a quiet vibe and low traffic home.
She loves affection and cuddles. She does not like high energy dogs or rowdy dogs. She seems to have a high prey drive -no small animals.
Twyla is up to date on her vaccines, had flea treatment, had de-wormer, had a heartworm test and is microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.
