Meet Twyla
This sweetheart is Twyla!
Twyla is an approximately 18-month old female Beagle/Labrador mix (best guess) who weighs around 35 lbs. (she may or may not need to lose a couple pounds). She was rescued from the streets and tested positive for heartworm disease. But, she has been treated and give a clean bill of health and ready to find her forever home!
Twyla is smart, friendly, and affectionate. She has learned basic commands and would love to learn more fun things! Twyla is not a fan of crates, but is left loose in her foster home when they are out and has not been destructive. She is, however, curious about trash cans, so those will need to be the type that close or put in a different room.
Twyla loves other dogs and does great with the cats in her foster home. Very good with older kids (she hasn't been around toddlers or very young children). She needs an active home that will include her in activities and play with her. She LOVES playing in water and car rides! She is able to climb chain-link fences so a stockade fence is required.
Twyla is house-trained and good on a leash.
She is spayed, current on vaccines and heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $175.00.
