Twix here! I am a Chihuahua Mix about 10.5 mos old and weigh 8lbs. I am super playful and get along well with other dogs. My foster sister and I have lots of play sessions each day and I have discovered these things called "toys" and "treats" that are so amazing! I am also a snuggler, I like to curl up close to my foster hoomans and my foster sister's furry butt. (she's like a mini heater!) I am very small so I would do better in a home with a smaller brother or sister up to 25lbs, the bigger dogs make me a little nervous. I'm not sure if I like cats or not, I haven't seen any to know! I am still potty training but my foster momma always cheers me on and gives me a treat when I potty outside so I am liking that! I will need a fenced yard and since I'm so small I would do best in a home with respectful children 10 yrs and above.

We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! We are always looking for good foster homes. Our rescue is foster based and we can always save more dogs if we have foster homes for them to go into. It is not a long term commitment. We have been able to find good forever homes in a short time. We also welcome volunteers who can help transport dogs and help with our outreach and fund raising efforts. Please contact us if you can help.
