To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We will slowly go through our line to set up a private meet and greet for potential adopters to foster.

Tweety, 3 year old, female, Chihuahua mix, udner 10 lbs. Tweety was transferred from Maricopa Animal Care and Control via Dog Is My Copilot on 3/16/20. She was found as a stray in Maricopa, AZ and was never claimed. Tweety is an easy-going, loving dog. We are still learning about her and the type of home she would thrive in but we think she would fit into a wide variety of homes. We will learn more about her personality in the coming days.

Please be patient with us during this time since we will be closed to the public. We are navigating waters we have never been in and will need time to sort through this especially with having limited staff on hand.

Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy.

Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.
