BACKGROUND: Meet Tux, a 20-year-old Chihuahua with a heart full of love and a spirit that refuses to slow down! He may take a minute to trust new people, but once he does, he’s playful, affectionate, and full of personality. Despite his age, he’s still spry and active, enjoying leisurely walks, cozying up in a comfy dog bed, and, of course, indulging in some delicious human food whenever he can. This little guy is looking for a kind and patient person to give him the chance to enjoy his golden years in a loving home. If you’re ready to offer a soft spot for a senior sweetheart, he’s more than ready to steal your heart!
COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Tux has the potential to get along with other dogs and cats. Tux would do best in a home without children.
MEDICAL NEEDS: Tux has spondylosis and luxating patellas, which do not require surgery, but he takes daily pain medication to keep him comfortable and manage these conditions.
