Meet Tux
Tux and his sister, Ellie joined our rescue in the beginning of January and are in search of their new forever homes. They were found as strays in Alabama.
Tux is approximately 3 1/2 months old and currently weighs around 22 lbs. Our best guess is that he has some hound in him along with possibly border collie (and many other breeds)! He will probably grow to be a medium to large dog (50 to 65 lbs).
Tux's foster mom describes him as the best foster puppy she has ever had. He is very snuggly and sweet! Food motivated and eager to please, so training should be easy. Tux can be a little shy when first meeting people, but he warms up quickly and his foster mom said he is gaining more confidence daily. The crate is not his favorite place and he has been sleeping on a dog bed in the bedroom and sleeps all night! This sweet pup will make a very loving member for a lucky family!
Tux is current on distemper, bordatella and rabies vaccinations; dewormed and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $400.
If you are interested in adopting Tux, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org. For any questions, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.net.
