Turner Black Labrador Retriever Rochester, NY

TURNER is a friendly, year-old black lab mix. He is great with other dogs and people including kids. He does have some fear of bigger men, likely stemming from when we brought him into rescue, he had some sort of trauma to his front teeth which all had to be removed. He still has his molars and can eat regular food, and is trusting and friendly but just very wary of larger men only. He was treated for heartworm by us and will be retested later this year and make sure he tests negative. If by chance he needs any further treatment for this, it will be covered by the rescue. He's got a lot of love and devotion to offer some lucky family.

Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We do most application processing virtually and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
