Tundra's Story

ONLINE APPLICATION: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TITD/Dog

Tundra is going to be you’re biggest bestest friend. If you’re looking for a large dog Companion then Tundra is your boy!
He has had 6 weeks of professional training to work on socialization and basic commands. He is still a baby at approx. 6-7 months old. He bonds quickly and strongly with his person or people. He would benefit from an adopter who understands and appreciates structure and discipline. Someone who understands the bond that is created when training together and the beauty of having a strong communication with their dog. Tundra is absolutely stunning with his sleek black coat and beige markings. He is great with other dogs who enjoy a high energy playmate, but also respectful of smaller and more low energy dogs. His current foster home also includes a pet pig, and he is wonderful with the pig!!

We prefer a family with older children. Tundra is the dog who will protect his family and home, but also needs a handler who will protect him in unfamiliar situations and understand his cues when he is uncomfortable. He loves toys and balls and being allowed to snuggle on the couch for movie time. He is crate trained and potty trained with doggy doors, so would need time to adjust to a new schedule in a home without dog doors.

Let’s meet!

Donations help us to continue rescuing dogs and cats and helping to make sure that they are healthy and properly socialized before being adopted.Thank you for considering a rescued dog/cat from This Is The Dog!.
