Tully is a 1 year old, 50 lb ray of sunshine. His foster Mom occasionally calls him Happy or Sunny. Unfortunately, he was surrendered to a high kill shelter, but that’s not stopping him from wearing an almost constant smile. This sweet boy wants nothing more than to be with his people and make them happy. He is very trainable and will do anything for approval or treats. He is wonderful with other dogs and loves playing with his foster “dog” sister. It doesn’t appear he is too familiar with cats, but while curious has only attempted to smell those in the house. Tully appears to be fairly new to crate training, and it isn’t his favorite thing so he barks a bit. However, he does well in the crate overnight. Mostly, he would prefer to be with his people and not be separated. Tully responds well to basic commands and quickly responds to directions such as “come” or “no”. He does get a bit excited when his foster Mom first comes home or he gets out of his crate, and wants to jump. However, in a short while, with a little training he has really improved in that area. Tully has tons of energy and enjoys playing outside. It isn’t known how he does around children, but the best guess is that he would love them as much as he loves everything else. However, he may need some training around small children as he is energetic. Tully is house trained, neutered, and up to date on all shots. This boy would make a great addition to any home ready to return the love he so freely gives.
