Tuey Greyhound Bondurant, IA

Hi! My name is Superior Intoit, aka, Tuey. I will be 6 years old in July. I am currently being fostered in West Des Moines in an apartment with two other retired greyhounds. We live on the third floor, and I have mastered the stairs already. I retired as a broodie having had one litter of 9 pups. They are currently racing and I am very proud of them. I retired from the farm on May 8th, and have adjusted to retired life very nicely. I love to hang out with the neighborhood kids (3 and older), and I was very calm and gentle with a 6 mo old baby. I am doing well on my leash walking. I do not pull at all, but I am unsure of where I am supposed to go so I stay right next to my foster mom's right leg, she tells me which way to go and I follow her lead.
I am NOT cat or small dog safe. They are very fun to watch and I want to chase them. I even saw a rabbit yesterday and it brought back very fond memories of my career at the track. I am still adjusting to eating just regular dog food, I really miss the hamburger mixed in. I think foster mom tricked me yesterday with some canned food mixed in, but it was delicious! I really love my foster sister's kennel and am having a great time playing with all of the toys we have here. The unicorn is my favorite. My foster mom is working from home right now, so we spend a lot of time together, but I am happy to be alone in my own room where my kennel is when she has to leave. I hope to meet you soon. Foster mom says I will make a greyt pet. I know she is right! Love Tuey

The adoption fee HGA is $285.99. This fee pays for medical costs including spay/neuter surgery, shots, parasite treatments, teeth cleaning, microchip and microchip registration fee. Each dog also comes with a special sighthound collar and leash set and muzzle. There is a $25 non-refundable application fee that is applied to an approved adoption.
