Meet Tucker
TUCKER aka Tux is a long hair German Shepherd Dog in his senior years, approx 7-8years old. Tux was a stray dog from the Texas/ Mexico boarder. He is a super mellow Texas cowboy who loves some southern chicken and front porch sittin' .
He was found tied to a fence in the 100 degree heat. He was in pretty bad shape when he arrived, completely matted, dehydrated, and malnourished. Each day that passes, his health is improving. He has grown much of his coat back and he has a gorgeous golden color coat which is slowly getting its shine.
He has probably been a stray his whole life, never knowing the comfort of a home, a hearty meal or someone to love him.
Tux is heartworm positive, but with the right treatment he will make a full recovery and live a normal life.
Tucker needs his forever family. He is chill around other dogs, showed no interest in his fosters parrot and loves everyone he meets.
