Trusty Hound Mix Springfield, MO

Hi my name is Trusty. I'm a 2 yr. old, 55lb. hound mix and I'm a total People dog. I mean, I REALLY love anyone who loves me! I'm very expressive as I smile when I'm happy and my tail wags out of control when I feel excited. My foster Mom calls my tail my happy flag. She's funny! But what is even more funny are the toddlers I live with. They're even more crazy than me. I love following them around and watching them play. Sometimes they let me lick their faces and it makes them giggle. I feel happy when they giggle.

It was kind of weird how one day I was following my nose and got my leg hurt... some nice people found me and helped me get better. They said I broke my leg, but I feel fine now. My foster mom says I favor it and limp, but I'm still super fast and fun. With my leg I favor I prefer no stairs, but can do them if I need to.

I don't mind a crate! I feel safe in there and my foster mom always gives me a toy to play with when I'm in there. There is this one thing called a leash and it's weird. Basically I don't get it yet, but my foster dad takes me on long walks everyday so we're working on it.

There is a cat where I'm staying and I chase it because I'm confident it wants to play with me. I do not understand why it won't play with me.

Oh! I almost forgot to mention my dog family at my foster family's house!!! I have three doggy friends here and I'm shy at first but now we play and love running together. I think they are a little jealous that I'm so good looking (and smart). Full package right here people!!! Want to love me forever? Have your people call my people.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
