Truffles was surrendered and rescued from a high kill shelter. So, little is known about him. What is certain, the first shelter wanted to make sure he had a second chance in a forever home. Now he is in rescue and ready to thrive in is forever home.They are notoriously sweet-natured, loyal, and loving with their family members, often wanting to be constantly by your side. They are known to maintain a goofy, playful, and high-spirited personality well into adulthood. They are smart and quick to learn, but they can have a stubborn, independent streak that requires patient, firm, and positive training. While they love to run, they are typically placid, calm, and content to lounge inside, making them decent for large homes, provided they get daily exercise.Truffles gets along fine with the dogs and children. It is not known if he has met a cat. Truffles is working on his house, crate and leash training. Daily exercise will support leash skills as well as socialization skills. It will be a new world to him with all the new sights, smells, sounds, and people along his walk. He may also enjoy going for hikes.
