Truffles Dachshund Mix West Springfield, MA

Truffles has come out of his shell with a little coaxing and oh boy does he love attention. This little guy is a 10 lbs 4 yr old doxie mixed with sugar and spice.  Truffles is looking for a warm lap to snuggle with and someone that will  give him a bit of time to adjust to a forever home and he will forever be grateful with kisses. He loves other little dogs and is learning walking on the leash. Truffles is house broken and has mastered the doggie door. Truffles enjoys a puppy play pen with a friend at night for sleepovers of course and likes his crate to chill in, too. Truffles doesn't let his past stop him from being the best dog ever. With a gentle hand (and cheese, of course!) Truffles can over come any obstacle. Truffles likes to get your attention with grunts and groans and if you're willing to listen, this guy has a story to tell. Truffles will bark at new people at the door but is sure to warm up after a few minutes and sometimes at his people when you leave. Truffles is sure to steal your heart with his sad eyes and big heart. Truffles would do best with older kids and he hasn't  been around cats.

Truffles is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Truffles is being fostered in West Springfield, MA.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
