I may be only 6 months old, but let me tell you—I’ve already lived up to my name! Hi I'm Trooper! Life started out a little rough for me, with a flea allergy and double ear infections, but I never gave up. Nope, I powered through like the brave little trooper I am, and now I’m thriving! My coat is filling in revealing some beautiful markings, my ears feel great, and I’m ready to march right into my forever home. I’m a Terrier/Border Collie mix, about 30 pounds of pure energy, intelligence, and love. I am house and crate trained and my leash skills are a work in progress. I’m playful, active, and always up for an adventure. You might call me a little ball of energy! I adore other dogs and people—seriously, I’ve never met a stranger! I haven’t been around cats yet, but with my smarts, I’m sure I could figure out how to be a good buddy. When my dog friends need a break from my puppy antics, I respect their space and entertain myself like a true little soldier. There is a toddler in my foster home and I am learning to play gently! My stunning green eyes and tri-tone coat make me a real head-turner, but my true beauty is in my heart. I love snuggles just as much as I love playing, and I’d do best with an active family who has the time and love to help me become the best pup I can be. My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
