Trixie Pomeranian Knoxville, TN

Trixie is the cutest 5 pound, 6 month old purebred Pomeranian. Trixie was surrendered to a shelter in Alabama when her owner no longer had time for her.

Trixie has enough personality to keep you entertained forever! She is all Pomeranian- very independent, all sass, super playful, and convinced she runs her foster home that has 5 dogs that are 20x her size. Trixie is crate trained and prefers to sleep in her kennel and will put herself to bed when she's worn out from running around all day. Trixie will need someone patient to continue potty training her. She is doing better about using a pee pad but still has accidents inside. Trixie would be fine in a home with cats and/or kids who are old enough to understand they must be gentle with her since she is so tiny. Trixie is a yapper! Like most Pomeranians, just about anything will send her yapping.

Trixie LOVES the other dogs in her foster home. Her best friend is a 60 lb Aussie mix and they play for hours every day. Since she loves the company of other dogs so much, we are *requiring her adopters to have another playful dog.*
Homes with Pomeranian experience will be prioritized. Please do research into the cost of maintaining her fur, she will need to be groomed regularly.

We are aware that young, purebred Poms are not common in rescue and anticipate a lot of interest in darling Trixie. You MUST fill out an application to be considered for adoption. Please do not email us asking questions without filling out the application. Trixie is fully vetted. She is spayed, up to date on shots & preventatives, & microchipped. Trixie's adoption fee is $600. We require a home visit, references, and a contract. Any other dogs in the home must be spayed/neutered.

We allow out of state adoptions for a perfect family, but you must arrange transportation. Trixie is located in Knoxville, TN but transport to Asheville, NC can also be arranged.
