Trixie Pit Bull Terrier Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Say Hello to Trixie! She is an approximately 6month old Bully mix. This sweet little girl became a misfit two months ago when her home became a bit so happy one and was surrendered to our program. She is up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped!

She is mostly house trained but is not vocal about going out side unless she’s in her kennel. She does best on a schedule or with a watchful eye. She is kennel trained for short periods and is doing better every time! She’s not the biggest fan of car rides but does very well on quick trips. She is a very fast learner yet stubborn and extremely treat motivated! Girl loves her food and will eat it quick!

She is still very much all pup and play is everything! When it’s time for games she has high energy and excitable. Her favorite games are tug of war and fetch. June bug hunting is her favorite sport, she loves to chase! That being said the cats are not a fan so they stay away and she barks at them for being lame and not playing, even when she bring them a toy. (Meanie kittys!) She is easily corrected when being naughty. Playing with dogs that match her energy is her favorite way to play! She can get a little rough but again will stop and calm down when corrected. Good around kids but would do best with older children. Smaller children will be knocked down by this excited bowling ball of love! She doesn’t mean to she’s just got a lot of booty! She does very well on walks. May pull at first but ends up happily by your side. She does still need some training because well, she’s just a pup! However she does know sit, drop it, bed, kennel and sometimes no.

Trixie is just a wonderful happy girl who wants to play and snuggle. When she’s not busy with a toy her favorite place to be is snuggled on the couch with you watching your favorite show. She is such a people pleaser and just wants to make you happy and have you tell her how much of a good girl she is. If Trixie gets bored she will chew or dig some so play time is a must! Remember she is still a puppy just trying to figure out this family thing. With a little guidance and tons of snuggles it will create a bond that can never be broken!
