Meet Trixie

The rewards from rescuing a loving dog always far outweigh your efforts to adopt them. And when the pup is disabled or challenged the love and rewards you get from your pup are endless. This would be the case with the very special loving family that adopt Trixie. This sweet girl gives the best kisses and cuddles! And she absolutely loves to have her belly rubbed when cuddled up next to you! But to get to the point, Trixie needs a quiet and calm home. She was born with Cellebellar hypoplasia. The cerebellum is the part of the brain that controls coordination. And when it doesn't develop fully, the pup has a hard time walking and doing other coordinated activities. But our little Trixie is giving it all she's got! The Cellebellar hypoplasia will not shorten her lifespan. And Trixie has learned to compensate for her challenges. A quiet home, possibly carpeted floors and a level accessible secure yard would help Trixie develop into the best of pups! Surprises, quick movements seem to bring on her tremors. But calm slow movements, a quiet voice, and lots of love bring out the sweetest little pup you want to meet. She now greets us with a little leap and a wiggle - just the happiest of pups! We love her! We are hoping to find Trixie that very special loving home! Please come and meet her soon! Trixie's DOB is 10/24/17.

Dog adoption fee is $239. This includes the spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate current vaccines (distemper and rabies), microchip, and preventative flea treatment
