Trixee is an enthusiastic girl who loves to play! Inside, outside, this girl is all about having fun! She is house trained, crate trained, and is doing well learning about car rides and walks. While Trixee is an energetic dog she is very good at entertaining herself - either with a bone or toy in the house, or by keeping busy in the yard. She is even taking up gardening and has learned to pick watermelons, although she has not quite figured out to wait until they are ripe. Trixee also enjoys playing with other dogs - she quite enjoys a game of chase, as long as she can set the rules.
Trixee's world was very small before coming to Peppertree and she is now learning how to be a part of a family, how to meet people coming in the home, and share toys with another dog. We are so proud of Trixee's progress! Trixee has been blossoming in her foster home, loving the attention and picking up new skills - her foster family describes her as eager to please and quick to learn. Because of her energy and some herding dog quirks Trixee is best suited to a home with a fenced-in yard. Trixee would happily live with the right dog, but is strictly a no cats, no small animal kind of dog. And children should be of the sturdy or older variety. If you have a ball and a couch in need of a dog, you should meet Trixee.
