Thank you to BBBR Volunteer Heather for the update on Triss: I had the pleasure of walking Triss. She is such a sweet love. Absolutely a dream on leash. Non reactive but curious. Clearly has some lab in her - she was obsessed with the river. Stepped right in when I thought she was going to get a drink. Such a sweet girl. TRISS is a 1.5 year old Labrador Retriever blend adopted through Boise Black Dog Rescue as a puppy, but recently surrendered to Idaho Humane Society.

She plays with other dogs at Good CitiZen Doggie Daycare where she is in boarding. She has completed puppy training through Good CitiZen and a more intense training through Scotch Pines.

She does amazing on leash, is attentive to her handler, and knows basic commands like auto-sit and stay. She is treat-motivated to learn more. Because she is so young, she is still very interested in ducks and squirrels.

TRISS loves car rides, going on hikes in the foothills, and running through rivers, but also loves to snuggle on your lap.

Because of her puppy energy- Triss would do best in a home with older or sturdy children and someone with an active lifestyle.
