Meet Tramp

Adoption applications should be filled out to expedite the process:

Please Note, our adoptions are limited to the Austin Metro area.

This precious lil guy is estimated to be 12+. He loves to walk and goes a mile with no trouble. His only medical need is for eye drops which he will always require for a dry eye comdition. Tramp is a sweet little gentleman who we feel was loved & well cared for during his life. He is current on vaccines, heart worm negative, microchipped and on heartworm prevention . He licks his feet a lot and has been treated with Apoquel for allergies which didn’t have much effect. We think it is mostly habit but his foster mom cleans his feet after a walk.

Tramp will gladly go out to go potty but can’t seem to manage a doggie door. If his foster family needs to leave for an extended period they leave him In playpen with a pad for his Comfort and to prevent accidents.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from Lil' Paws Maltese Rescue and other Petite Paws, please visit our website at and fill out an adoption application. This is the first step in our adoption process. Our goal is to place our dogs in safe, stable and loving homes in the Austin Metropolitan area. Thanks for looking!

Lil' Paws Maltese Rescue and other Petite Paws depends on donations to keep the dogs in our program healthy. Many health issues are taken care of before a dog leaves a rescue: spaying, neutering, immunizations, dental care, and in some cases major surgery. Because of the cost of this care, donations are essential to enable us to continue our work. If you would like to show appreciation for what we do and help us continue to do it please go to our website homepage and click the donate button. We thank you in advance for your support.
