Meet Tracy

Tracy, 7 months old, spayed female, 18 Lbs.

Meet Lovable Tracy

Tracy was discovered in a garage with her siblings, shivering and looking for food on a cold rainy day when they were about 2 months young. When we tried to catch them for the first time, they were so scared and took off. Thinking they might be hit by cars or bullied by unfriendly people, we came back better prepared to fetch them. Thank God - when we got there again, they showed up immediately. This time we got them successfully with food. During the ride to an animal hospital, Anna and Tracy were so scared and curled up in the corner of the kennel. After arriving at the animal hospital, they behaved well and smoothly went thorough physical checkups. Unsurprisingly, they were not in good condition. There were many ticks and fleas all over their skinny bodies. When they were fed, they just swallowed whatever was given. Just looking at them eating, that made us very sad! To ensure they were in good care, we placed them in the animal hospital for intensive medical care.

Tracy grew well under very good foster care. She is lively and playful. Among all her siblings, Tracy is the smallest one with long puffy hair like a Spitz. Her smile is so sweet and delightful. When she meets people coming around, she stays a little distance away, wagging her tail waiting for you to call her for nice pets. She is a shy girl but longing for intimacy. If you have treats in hand, she surely will adore you and follow you around. In fact, she loves cuddles but in a passive way. Tracy is housebroken outside and inside on a potty pad, knowing the command to sit before getting food. She also likes to shake hands. Shy Tracy responds to recall. Tracy is a happy girl when she plays; sometimes she hops like a little fur ball bouncing around. She is mellow and submissive with children, playful with dogs and friendly with cats. It might take a little time for her to get to know you better. Once she takes you as her best friend, she is sweet and affectionate. If you are a family with easygoing members and are willing to devote a little time and patience to help Tracy become more socialized andlove her as she is, please visit www.ahan.org to view Tracy’s videos, and click “APPLY” to fill out an online application.
