This is Tony. He is a Jack Russell mix around 3 years old and 15 lbs. Tony was dumped outside the gate of the shelter when they were closed. He was terrified and really overwhelmed at the shelter. In a home he would be a great lap dog. He is fearful of men but will make up with them over treats. Although he loves his foster dad so many it's just some men? He just needs a quiet place where he can feel safe. He likes the other dogs in his foster home but can be in their face so he's kept separate during the day. He loves walks but pulls so he'll need more training on the leash. He loves to follow you around the house and up and down the stairs, he just wants to be in the same room as you.

We are presently not holding our regular Saturday adoption clinics due to the Covid-19 virus. We are operating on a limited basis until further notice, but we are still adopting dogs out. We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
