Tony Husky Mix Springfield, MO

Did you say you have a job opening for a best friend? I am Tony and am ready to apply! I'm an absolutely gorgeous 3 year-old bundle of love. Like any husky/pit mix I'm friendly and intelligent too. Have to admit, I am a confirmed laid-back attention hog though, so wouldn't mind being an only pet. My ideal fur-ever home is a family with either no other animals or with one other dog just my size, because at 70 pounds I want a friend to keep up. I like respectful older kids, I am not a big fan of unpredictable movements, so no littles. Not really sure about kitties, but my guess is no cats either for the same reason.

Speaking of better, I am a champ at no accidents in the house! I'm a total house training pro! And I am also crate trained! I even run into my crate when my foster mom is getting ready to feed me so that I am totally ready to eat! My secret to success? A peanut butter filled Kong, but don't let that get out. It might ruin my tough guy image. I know how to sit, shake, and lay down. I am very vocal; talking like a husky in the bath and will bark to answer you if you ask me if I want to go outside!

I am heartworm positive, but have started treatment and will be available soon. I need to be adopted locally in the Springfield area due to additional heartworm testing and medications that will need to be done 6 months post adoption.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
