Adopt-a-BullBreed: Beagle/Labrador Retriever Mix
Estimated Date of Birth: August 1, 2014
Size: 45 lbs
Location: White, GA
Tonks, formerly known as Plum, was part of "the fruit-basket pups" litter we got back in 2014. The Fruit Basket Pups were born outside in the woods in Rockmart, GA on 8/1/14. Our best guess is they are Beagle/Lab mix pups. The momma dog is a brown and white, 30 lb. Beagle Mix that has been adopted by the family that found her. The dad was a 40 lb. Lab Mix that was unfortunately hit by a car and killed before we became involved to help this sweet family. Tonk's family situation has changed and she needs a new home so she's back up for adoption as of July 2019.
Tonks is an energetic, water-loving, cuddle-monster that will be a perfect fit for any active home. She loves to be outside, playing fetch with a super bouncy ball so she can impress you with her ability to jump and catch it. She enjoys going for walks once she gets comfortable with the leash and would make an excellent hiking companion with a little practice. Tonks loves to swim and will immediately go into any body of water without hesitation, no matter how big or small (kiddie pool or lake, it all awesome to Tonks!). Tonks is housebroken, crate-trained, and good with children. When inside she is content to lay with you or on a dog bed with a Nylabone or chew toy. She will make a great addition to any home looking for puppy enthusiasm with lots of tail wags and nose licking. Tonks is looking for a forever family - she would love to be adopted with her sister, Rue (also on our site), although it is not a requirement. She would do best in a home with her sister Rue or maybe another male dog companion.
Our adoption fee is $250. All dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, on heartworm prevention, and are fed top of the line grain-free food.www.savingpitbulls.org
