-Personality: Big goof! Chow hound, affectionate, playful, slobbery
-Can Live with Kids: Respectful, dog-savvy kids aged 12+
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history, will need slow, supervised intro.
-Can Live with Dogs: Tonka was bullied by the dogs in his previous home, so any new dogs will have to be just the right match. He would do best with a calm dog that will respect his space. He would also be just as happy as an only child.
-Can do Apartment Living: No, this BIG boy needs lots of space to stretch his legs. A home with a large fenced yard would be ideal!
-Potty Trained: Appears to be!
-Bite History: No, but can be a little mouthy when he gets excited.
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, three private lessons focusing on socialization and basic manners
-Energy Level: Medium
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No
-Additional Information: Tonka is a big, drooly boy who's looking for his FOREVER snuggle buddy! This big baby loves attention and prefers his people to be around as much as possible-- he would not be happy left alone for long periods of time (he appears to have some separation anxiety). Tonka may have some fear of strangers/men, so introductions to new people should be taken very, very slowly. At a whopping 101 lbs at 6 months old, Tonka will be a VERY LARGE boy once fully grown.
