Toni (F) Mixed Breed Sun Prairie, WI

Say hello to Toni, one of the most chill dogs you will ever meet at around 40 something pounds. Toni was owner surrendered recently as there were too many dogs in the home. Since arriving in Wisconsin in November she has been updated on all vaccinations and was recently spayed.

Sadly, due to the number of dogs in her previous home, Toni is under-socialized but making great progress. Her foster mom has been working on earning her trust and leash training is in progress.

Toni enjoys playing with toys, chewing on bones, and playing with the other foster in the house. She does well with sharing toys but can be protective of her food, no surprise given she had to compete with so many other dogs in her previous home.

Toni likes to be near her foster mom, but is not a lap dog. Toni will do well in a quieter environment where she has a space of her own as she frequently goes into a crate when she needs space from the other foster dog in the home. Toni's next family will greatly benefit from giving her plenty of time and space to get used to her new people and space.
