Meet Tommy! He is a 5 yo, 15 lbs, male mini Australian Shepard.


People love to say hi on the street and ask about this handsome boy!
Highly trainable and smart (motivated by pets/attention rather than food)
Athletic, but also happy to lounge on the couch for a long time
Very loving, sweet and devoted to his human, all he wants is pets, love and a forever home
Some separation anxiety but not too bad and we are working on it.
He likes his peanut butter kong when left at home alone!
Suspicious of strangers but warms up very quickly if you give him some cheese.

Tommy is in search of a loving forever home that can provide the ideal balance of pampering, continued training for his separation anxiety, and ample opportunities for socialization. With the right care and attention, Tommy can build the confidence and social skills necessary to become the ultimate companion, eager to accompany his human everywhere and receive the exercise/stimulation he needs.



Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and bordetella, heartworm negative, spayed/netuered, and microchipped. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available.
