Meet Tommy

Tommy is a very sweet boy. He is kenneled at night around 12 p.m. and gets up at 6 a.m. He goes outside and plays with his Kong ball and his Rottie foster brother for a while. Then he comes in eats then likes to play tug-of-war with his foster mom, foster dad and foster brother. When he gets done playing he gets a chew toy and lays in his bed or in your lap. If you let him, he will fall asleep and snore in your lap.

When foster mom leaves for work, Tommy is kenneled because he is very much a puppy and will get into everything when he gets bored. Foster dad works night shift and gets up between 12 and 1. Tommy then will go outside to use the bathroom and play with his foster brother again.

Tommy is very active and is high-energy which makes him not good small animals and children. He plays hard and gets excited and would probably jump on them and unintentionally hurt them. Tommy is NOT aggressive. He just plays hard and doesn't realize it or realize his size.

Tommy walks well on a lead. He knows basic commands but needs a firm hand and a breed experienced owner as he will try to test you. He is a baby but learns quickly and will make a great family member for someone who is willing to work with and teach him.
