Meet Tommee Girl, a 1 year and 2-month-old German Shepherd.

This sweet girl has lived through all the ups and downs with her adopter, but unfortunately it has become obvious that it is time to re-home her. A little bit about her story…

She was rescued as a 3.5-month-old puppy in June of 2022. At the time, her adoptive family lived on 10 acres with a 2 acre fenced yard and a large home. Her adoptive momma was a stay at home mom. Since then, her adoptive parents separated and her mom ended up living in a small apartment. She also had to go back to work, leaving Tommee kenneled a good majority of the time.

This change was already drastic as is, but in February the apartment was hit head on by a tornado while Tommee was home alone in her Kennel. As a result she has been struggling with severe separation anxiety, and storm anxiety. She is now finding ways to escape metal crates / large bolted together heavy duty plastic kennels, only to get out and destroy furniture, belongings, etc., due to her anxiety.

Her adoptive mom is looking for a family or owner for her that will be able to provide an enriching environment where she can flourish. She really needs a home where she can have a job or stay stimulated with toys, running, etc.
