Meet Toby! This sweet chiweenie is looking for a fun and loving forever home.

Toby is a gentle, loving little puppy that is full of energy! His antics are sure to make you smile! Toby acts like a big dog in a little dog's body (what else would you expect with a chihuahua and dachshund mix?!). He is comfortable romping with all sizes of dogs, from small to large, and hasn't met a dog (or person!) he doesn't like.

Toby loves to run and play and chew on bones and toys, often enticing a friend to play with a tug rope. When he stands on his hind legs for a treat or to ask to be picked up, he looks like a meerkat on alert! So adorable! Toby will give love and kisses to his hoomans and enjoys snuggling on the couch or in bed under the covers if it is chilly. His favourite bed is a furry, donut dog bed that he can curl up and snuggle in... or your bed, of course!

Toby is around 8 months old and weighs 8.6lbs. He is almost potty trained and learned how to use the doggie door at his foster home with ease! He potties outside consistently but does not yet ask to go outside so, at this point, it does take someone able to let him out periodically as he works towards being fully potty trained. Toby walks well on a leash and doesn't mind being in his kennel for short periods of time, especially if he has a treat to chew on. Toby is super easy to put a harness or sweater on with no protest

Toby has come a long way from the semi-feral, skittish street dog he was and will continue to prosper in his forever home with the love and attention he deserves.

Toby is being fostered in Dripping Springs, TX and is available for adoption throughout Texas and Northeastern states.
